  • L.cristata nymphs

    Hi Guys,

I have seperated all the bad eggs from my postembryos, I had to throw away about 300 duds but I do have 457 developed postembryos, so it’s happy days.

Anyway that was yesterday, today my postembryos are molting into nymphs at a tremendous rate. I do however have a small worry. As you can see from the pics below, I have the nymphs in a pedestal type setup, there is a small plant pot sitting in a tank with moist vermiculite, with an old stocking streached over the top. As you can see the nymphs are already making their way to the edges of the pedestal, and a few have already taken the plunge to the vermiculite below.

I’d like to know from you experienced breeders is this anything to worry about?
If so what can you recommend?
Also when would you suggest I think about seperating the little beasties.

    Cheers

    Ben
