  • salmon pink birdeater question

Hi my name is Luke and I have reacently purchased my second T, a salmon pink birdeater it is only a baby and has moulted twice before i bought it (or so I am told). I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on its tank. I currently have it in a modified lunch box with the substrate as quoir blocks which I beleive is coconut fibre. This came with my first spider (a chilean rose) as part of a starter pack but can anyone suggest the best substrate to use and a reliable supplier to buy it off.

    Thanks Luke Milnes

    Hi Luke,

The lunch box sounds fine. I would suggest a peat and vermiculite mix for your Salmon Pink. This is easy to get hold of from your local garden centre and is quite cheap.

    Cheers
