Vivarium building....

I'm thinking of building a wooden vivarium to store my Spiderlings, Juveniles and some of my adult Tarantulas. I don’t fancy buying a pro built one as they cost a small fortune

I can source all the parts needed to build a basic vivarium all except the plastic guides for the sliding glass doors at the front. Does anyone know where I can purchase such an item??

Stoney, I'm sure you can get these at most DIY places, and if not then I know IKEA do them

I had a good look round the local B&Q and Focus but found nothing I even asked in store and the lad there just gave me a bewildered look...

They are normally housed in the same section as all the wooden mouldings, a big section all full of "pidgeon Holes".

I have always bought mine from the local DIY place, Used to be called Do-it-all, now call Focus. Look in the same section as the wood mouldings. Usally about £4.50 for a 6ft strip. 6mm double tracking is best
