  Abstract:
  In this paper a new species of Brachypelma from Veracruz , Mexico, Brachypelma kahlenbergi n. sp. is described. Males and females are almost entirely black with read orange setae on the dorsal face of the opisthosoma. The species here described is named in honour of Herwig Kahlenberg, Berlin, Germany, who recognized first that it an undescribed species of Brachypelma.
  
  Zusammenfassung:
  In dieser Arbeit wrid eine neue Brachypelma- Art aus Veracrz, Mexiko, Brachypelma kahlenbergi n. sp., beschrieben. Männchen und Weibchen sind auf dem dorslane Opisthosoma schwarz und mit einigen orangen Haaren durchsetzt. Diese Art wird zu Ehren von Herwig Kahlenberg, Berlin, welcher sie erstmals als neue Brachypelma-Art erkannt hatte, beschrieben.
