  • Need confirmation on this.

I did a swap for this spider which i originally was told was Cyriopagopus Shioedtei, but after having her moult i could clearly tell that she was not and thought she was a juvenile Lampropelma Violaceopes . She has now moulted 2 days ago and i am confused again as to what she could be. Can someone confirm what i think she is ? She has a 6 1/2 + inch legspan at the moment and after trawling several picture on the net of Asian arboreal spiders i have a idea but I need it confirming. Am i a lucky man?

Here is the confirmation she is female.

Pictures can be deceiving, but it looks very similar to my Lampropelma violaceopes.

Looks like C. schioedtei to me. Check out http://asianarboreals.googlepages.co...opusschioedtei and there's a pic just like yours of a sub adult female with the long red hairs.

They do look similar, but the purple color still has me leaning toward L. violaceopes.
