She moulted on top of a piece of drift wood......



.....just got in to find she has a half dead leg guess she must of tumbled off the wood in moulting and caught or knocked it.



There is no leaking fluids so thats a blessing.



Hope she decides to yank it off as as me and my sausage fingers arent up to the delecate prosess of aputation lol.

If she needs to lose the leg she will do it herself, Terminator style I wouldn't advise removing it yourself, as long as it isn't giving her any problems on next moult she'll shed out fine. Ive heard sometimes tarantulas will speed up there moulting process to deal with such ailments. So as long as she is feeding well and doesn't seem to be bothered by it I'd just leave it on her
