Gabriel, R. 2011. A New Species of Hapalopus Ausserer, 1875 from Guyana (Araneae: Theraphosidae). Journal of the British Tarantula Society 26 (2): 76-80.

Summary. A new species of Hapalopus Ausserer, 1875 is described from Guyana. This species represents the first record of the genus from Guyana and brings the total number of theraphosid spider species recorded from Guyana to eleven.
