yeah I am a shadow when im taking pic of a molting, I dont even close the lid because it would bother the specimen

very nice pics.I'm always wary of removing lid when they are moulting.I believe in as little disturbance as possible but think i will try next time as thats the only way to get in close with a macro camera.Once again great pics.
