  • A couple of mine

    here are some of my pictures, of species you don't see all that often:

    Avicularia laeta:

      You got that right. Nice pics, nice spiders. There's something about A. laeta that appeals to me. Probably the rich browns and the slightly scruffy look of the first male.

        FAB PICS MATE, are you a photographer ? wot camera do you use, and why the hell cant i get good clear pics like that??

              I use a FujiFilm FinePix E510 (5.2 MP) camera. It does pretty well for a camera of it's price range (I paid 275$ CDN, so about 130 B.P.), I'm still trying new things to try to improve my picture quality with this camera (It's a bit stubborn about the amount of light you need)

              They are also (IME) one of the hardiest Avicularia species, and among the better eaters within the genus I've kept.

                  Great photos of the other spiders. The zebratum looks like it would glow in the dark...
