    classic Peter.

Thats exactly what I was thinking of :P

And Rich, you are still young, you will see luck in a different light one day I'm telling you.

Yesterday in poker, I sure did get lucky. It usually takes me 45 mins to win a game. So I join the table, get AK on my first hand.
I raise it. Someone calls it. Someone else raises it. Thats half my money in by now.... Flop comes out, load of ****.

I know then and there I have lost alot of money but at this point I have to go for all or nothing so I go for all. Next card comes out, he has 2 queens now. Next card comes out....................

I win wth the straight! Boom.

Took me 1 minute, left the game, loving it. Haha, now if that aint luck I don't know what is (course a bit of skill too heehee)

Or... it is just one of those things that has two or more possible outcomes, and you just happened to have to right one come to you.

Lol, I suppose the argument isn't so good. I believe in luck, if you see it as a variable outcome. I do not see it as anything mystical, or magic.

Anyway, well done on your win. So, how much did you win? If you don't mind me asking?

May I suggest the words "reasonable discussion" rather than nagging.

          LOL!!!

Right now I don't feel the need for a second tarantula as my smithi has changed personality since its moult. It now lightening fast, has attitude and gained an attitude. She definitely not one to be messed with!!

She? Well, hopefully for you (and the same applies to me about IC). I can't wait for Ice Cube to finally emerge, hopefully bigger!
If mine ends up being a female, than I will probably rename it to "Icy"; Lol

Rather than starting a new thread, I though I'd continue with this one. Hope no-one minds

Since we moved house and had Olivia, I've not really been giving Gloria (nee Smiffy) as much attention as I used to. By that, I mean gawping at her all the time. The other night I took a look before heading to bed and low and behold, the bald patch had turned black. I had noticed her rubbing her abdomen slowly the other day on her current favourite spot. Is this a usual behaviour? Laying down hairs as some sort of tarantula type carpet?

Anyway, as this is a pix part of the forum, here are the current pre-moult pictures.

I hope I'm not getting my hopes up too high, but if the change is as beautiful as it was just under two months ago, I cannot wait.

p.s. I'll update as soon as I can, but I'm having real problems with my laptop and with my broadband. GGggrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

                Gloria? What's that about?

Ice Cube is like yours right now, except mine hates cameras, the tank being opened and say for instance if I knocked against the bookshelf by accident, even just a little bit to create a noticeable vibration he/she runs into its hide.

It's eating very well though, and is very vicous. I think it's going to moult soon too though!

Some of the kind members here decided Smiffy was in fact a her. I got a great (ish) picture of the underside and those kind members helped me vent sex by tarantula. I decided Smiffy wasn't such a feminine name and my wife alwyas called it Gloria, so that name stuck.

                      Here is Gloria's latest colouration.

Compare it to the first pic in this thread.

That's wicked. I can't wait till Pyro moults and hopefully Ice Cube will too (I think the time's coming for IC, but for Pyro, it definitely is!).
