  • Excursion in Polvoranca Park, Madrid

All the morning walking, getting fun, and seeing bugs

    Argiope lobata ventral.

    Another specimen, dorsal view.

    Order Hemiptera, Carpocoris mediterraneus.

    Now more...
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near Tannhäuser's gate.
All those moments will be lost in time,
    like tears in the rain...

      A. lobata in her web, in that curious pose, probably throwing her feromones in the air.

Another specimen feeding of a wasp.

      Male dragonfly, Sympetrum fonscolombei.

        Another dorsal of A. lobata.

A dramatic effect, to see a web.

Going near the river, we found Argiope bruennichi.

        A. bruennichi nymph.

        Now more...

          Uloborus walckenaerius.

And on the left side, another bruennichi nymph (I had to put my knee over a thistle to photograph this... XD)

Another U. walckenaerius at the entry of a tunnel, in that curious possing, so I could photo her profile.

A lonely place with that fallen poster...

          Now more...

            Ventral view of A. bruennichi.

Another specimen without ¡I, II, III, IV legs on the right, and I or II on the left! Usually the females fight for a good place, and there's allways a looser...

A little blueish dragonfly, Sympecma sp.

The fruits of a wild rose.

Between the reed, a big web (she is in the middle).

Going to the left from the one over there, there was this great "community", there where you could find one, there were at least another 5 or 6...

Caught! Getting fun on the river.

Little gorgeus spider, Mangora acalypha, walcking on an A. bruennichi's web

                That's all, budies

I hope you have enjoy, at least so many as myself.
