They'll soon have some colour. Mine was a hairless 0.5cm little thing less than 4 months ago. It's grown really fast. This is the first hint of colour its shown. Can't wait to see it next moult (they really grow in leaps and bounds).

Thought I'd add these two to my thread - a couple of gems in my collection:

first off a very special spider - my MM avic sp (species unknown) who was in fact my very first tarantula

and one of my personal faves, my juvie Selenocosmia sp. "Ebony"

Added these two lovely ladies to my collection today:

Lasiodora parahybana - and she is HUGE. I put her in this tank and she spread her legs out and I promptly had to upgrade her. She's a very big girl!

and a very beautiful Thrixopelma ockerti

Very pleased with them both, and looking forward to adding T. Blondi to my collection on Sunday

                            Thanks.

I just measured her she is 16cm from front foot to back foot. I do not think she is full grown yet either. Gonna be a HUGE spider.

                            I like her a lot.

Here are some more shots of my Thrixopelma ockerti - she's a little wet as i had just misted the tank and she decided to come out and tell me off for intruding - so I grabbed the camera LOL

When she got this far, I told her, "that's far enough little lady" and she went back home, satisfied she'd seen me off.
