Hello all! I'm sort of new here! (That is I used to come here some years ago).
At the moment I have a b. smithi, pampho(spp unkown) and a g. cala.
In the past I've kept A. Avicularia, A. Purpurea, H. Lividum. I also had another Cala and another 2 pamphos.
Anyhoo.
My Cala has not long molted into an absolutely stunning....male
I always think its a terrible shame for the males to just die.
Obviously its also a terrible shame if they get munched, but you know what i mean!
But what can you do
:shrugs:
And while I'm here. I'm not actually overly concerned...but as I don't actually know specifically my pampho is maybe somebody could help me.
Dark brown in colour all over, except for 2 tan brown stripes on each knee. And if you hold her up to the light (esp when she has just molted) a fantastic metallic blue.
Closest picture I have seen to her is this:
But that ain't no pampho
she also looks a bit like this the spider pictured in this thread in the pics forum:
Femelle Cyclosternum S.P du PĂ©rou
except the knee stripes are much more pronounced
Thanks!
