Michael Jacobi Tarantula Keeping – The Next Generation: Innovation in Modern Husbandry Techniques
Bio: MJ is the publisher of ARACHNOCULTURE magazine, author of the "Tarantulas in the Terrarium" instructional DVD and is currently working on a book titled "Modern Tarantula Keeping". He is a professional arachnoculturist and herpetoculturist with a special interest in naturalistic vivaria and environmental control.
Jennifer Dobson from Liverpool Museum will be giving a lecture based on "life history of the solifugid in captivity"
Bio: JD is an arachnologist and zoo keeper at Liverpool Museums Bughouse, a small arthropod zoo. She also an invertebrate expert advisor for the RSPCA, inspecting pet shops and collecting and re-homing all manner of invertebrates. Currently studying their life history in captivity for research and masters degree.
This is a very under researched area and she will be presenting some ground breaking information as well as displaying preserved specimens.
Ray Hale The English Jungle
