It is with great sadness and solace that I have to relay the news of the untimely passing of Ian Metcaffe. (Ian M)
Ian was a long time hobbyist and fine person with great worldly knowledge of both the tarantula hobby and the internet, I have personally had many a conversation with him about both subjects, and been lucky enough to have met him and Marie in person.
Our thoughts are with Marie his wife and his immediate family. This news is so very sadly received, and Ian will be a sadly missed.
Ian worked extremely hard on developing and maintaining the T-store forum, and did so without expecting or warranting praise, he was true peoples person and a fine and upstanding one with great understanding and wit, and as such was a rare person indeed.
He will be sorely missed

It is with great sadness i make this post, we have today received the tragic news that Ian M (Ian Metcalfe) passed away yesterday from a heart attack. Many of you will know him from the forum and spider events, others may not, But he was always working behind the scenes managing the forum. I know he will be greatly missed by many, our thoughts are with Marie and their children at this very sad time........
