My P.murinus is about 4.5" legspan, shes getting quite big after her recent moult. I was watching her last night as she comes out of her 'web tunnel' and has a little wonder around. I got the impression that the enclosure might be too small for her? I cannot find any info on the recommended size enclosure for these species. Wonder if anyone can help?
I have a spare enclosure that my chile rose used to be in, its quite a lot bigger than the one to which the P.murinus is currently in..Would she be happier in this bigger enclosure?
Heres some pics of her current enclosure on top of the 'spare' one.
The current enclosure measures 6.52(L) x 5"(W) x 8"(H)
and the larger enclosure is 13"(L) x 7.5"(W) x 8"(H)
I think the larger tank could do with being a little taller as once there's a good 3 " of substrate in there there's obv only 5" of height left and 1" of that is the roof.
P.s.ignore the dampness in one of them pics, i took that pic just before she moulted,so i was just keeping the humidity up a little.
