Hi All,
May I start by saying this is my first ever breeding project.
After successfully mating (5 times) my big Girl she laid a sac on the 13th
Nov. I have been going by BTS article (21-4) and have some questions. He left
the sac with mum for 21 days then pulled it. he talks about putting a wet gauze
above the eggs at the N2 stage to allow them to hand to moult as the mother
would normally spin another web to allow them to hang and moult preventing them
getting stuck within their exuviae then they moulted into spiderlings.
has anyone any experience breeding these beauties?
should i pull after 21 days? 6 days later he lost 40 of them, is it worth waiting a little longer?
how would i achieve the gauze above? is this necessary?
