Hi!

My guess would be Chilobrachys spec.
Else I'd choose Theraphosidae spec. Asia

Uwe

Asian?? I'm 100% certain on what it is not :) It's not a Selenocosmiinae (this one has tibial spurs), so it's not Chilobrachys :)

Is it from possibly India through to China, somewhere on the mainland, maybe even the Seychelles?? Something is jumping to mind, knowing you have one could I tempt you to figure them out?? ;)

I better throw a guess in, Nesiergus sp. (leaning away from Plesiophrictus) from the Ischnocolinae???

I would have gone with plain old Plesiophrictus.sp however this does not look like the male of the one Indian species iv seen pictures of on the net (carapace seteation looks a bit wrong?), but there could be others (not in as many hands tho im sure).

Is that a mite on its carapace? Sorry...typical woman missing the point lol.

Looks like our Yamia sp
