Asian?? I'm 100% certain on what it is not It's not a Selenocosmiinae (this one has tibial spurs), so it's not Chilobrachys
Is it from possibly India through to China, somewhere on the mainland, maybe even the Seychelles?? Something is jumping to mind, knowing you have one could I tempt you to figure them out??
I would have gone with plain old Plesiophrictus.sp however this does not look like the male of the one Indian species iv seen pictures of on the net (carapace seteation looks a bit wrong?), but there could be others (not in as many hands tho im sure).
