Beautiful T, Andy! Congrats on the future little ones. Looks like she was a very good mommy and kept them nicely separated. I look forward to updates as these little bugs grow. Di
thanks colin and diane, yes i am going to need a fair few film pots if they all make it!! there seems to be quite a few, there was also a lot of dead eggs to, she certainly was a good mum diane , i did actually have second thoughts about pulling the sac ,maybe next time ( i have a sub adult male) i will wait another couple of weeks before removing a sac from her
Very cool. Good job. they look like very healthy little bugs. I have my first sac of Tapinauchenius violaceus 1st instars myself. I just found them Sunday, crawling all over mom. Isn't this hobby great? Di
They are a very rare species as only a few collected for this first time this year. We got 10 big ones and 5 smalls so be good to have them established in captivity.
