    Hello,

Just joined the BTS... Actually on Jan 3rd.. waiting access to the journal articles and the like. ( can someone tell me how long it takes for membership processing?, not upset just impatient )

    First:
I live in New York State in the USA, VERY close to the city of Montreal in Canada.

I work in a laboratory setting and keep my T's at my office ( has loads of advantages ) I teach Chemistry and Algebra here at the college

I currently have 14 tarantulas which seems to be the max my current arrangments will hold.

I've always had at least one tarantula since 1991, but only since Spring of 2004 have I become a student of the Hobby.

Looking forward to being an active member ( though making it to any social event is unlikely )

many people might know me from Arachnoboards.. ?? or not..

    Hi Nerri,

May I be the first to wish you a warm welcome to theBTS. It's nice to see so many new faces around here lately and I hope that we can bring a little more life into this forum.

As for members access, if you try emailing Mark Pennel he may be able to email you the access codes once your membership has been approved. It could otherwise take weeks if you were to wait for the journal to be posted out to you. Also nice to have a student of the hobby too.

Don't recall seeing you from Arachnoboards, but I am a member there myself.

    Cheers,
    Adam

          Hi Nerri,

Welcome to the BTS site and the forum, there are a good bunch of people that frequent here, all with different degrees of knowledge and experience, it is a great place for good advice.

Reading your post, I'm not sure if you're really 100% committed to this hobby though, I mean where's the problem in travelling a couple of thousand miles for a one day show every now and then??? I jest!!

What T's have you currently got then?

          Once again welcome.

Hi and welcome to the BTS. We have your application and it has been processed. The journal is on its way to you.

We try to keep on top of it but we have had a lot of new members of late. Great for the Society but not for my sanity . We have picked up alot of American members recently. keep up the good work over there.

Look forward to seeing your input on the forum.
