this is to the experts who went to uni/college ect to study arachnids.

where did you guys go to study arachnology and what education did you need in order to do so?

I don't think you can study arachnology anywhere. You have to be a biologist to understand the "whole thing" (it's a very complex science) if you want to work on spiders. People usually work on their field of interest during the study and than take a diploma out of it and if they're lucky and hardworking enough (so you get a job at an Institute), they end up working on a doctor's degree on this subject and so on...

        Hi!

Ok, I just asumed you can't study such narrow subjects as entomology. I hope people studiing that don't get a to narrow education... I'm slowly getting to the end of my biology study and I realize now how good it is to have a wider view on things (years ago I wasn't quite happy about the fact you can't study only zoology or botany (or even "smaller" sciences) in our country), either you deal with ecology, physiology or molecular biology. That's what I was tring to say.

I don't know how old are you or how your school sistem works so I think it's best somebody else explains that to you.

        best wishes,
