Hi every one does any one no when steven nunn will be exporting any of his tarantulas. I love australian tarantulas and have been after them for quite a bit. But as most of you will no up until recently there has been a complete ban on wildlife being exported from australia and there still is. Except steven nunn has a licence to export only captive bread stock and I was wondering if any one nows when there going to be coming to the uk thanks james.

Hi James,
Here's a rundown of what's coming, with images
First, 2 from the genus Phlogius, which currently sit in Selenocosmia but will definately be resurrected once Raven finishes his research. He stated this in his description of Coremiocnemis tropix.
Firstly, the genotype, Phlogius crassipes from the Central Qld Coast, a large theraphosid with powerful front legs and an amazing attitude:

Then a close relative, "Phlogius sp. "Sarina", another large tarantula, exceeding 17cm in legspan:

Then 2 Selenotypus spp., the first one is S.plumipes, the genotype species (currently the only described one until Raven finsishes his work):

The second is Selenotypus sp. "Glenelva" and is a close relative to S.plumipes:

The last species I'll be exporting is from the Aussie "Phlogiellus" group: Phlogiellus sp. pq118:

Cheers,
