  • Lasiodora Parahybana

Hi,My L.Parahybana has been making some strange webs.
They are almost like half a hammock if that makes any sense.
He's a subadult due for a moult, could it be webbing for moult although they do look like spermwebs.
The web starts half way up the side of viv(3inch) and curves to the substrate about 3 inches from edge of viv.very strange.I would appreciate any advice.

a picture would help a lot, but in my opinion if it is in premolt, that is just a molt web

It depends. If it is def 100% sub adult then it wont be a sperm web and sounds like a moult mat. Is it a he for def?
If you see the palps looking bulbous and it laying under the web hammock depostiting white stuff then its a mature male.
