      I have noticed!!!!

I was attacked by the virus - it's name is Download.Tojan.

My norther antivirus has detected it when it started downloading, but was unable to stop or contain it, but it has stoped it from further damaging the comp. However, it did locate it:

The virus was found the Local Setting\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\57BB9OQ

I have recently downloaded Windows Defender - this is a free beta version software that specilises in diffrent malwares and it seemed to do the trick of locating it.

AVG here detects it, but is unable to delete or move the infected file got another virus scanner on it now that seems to be doing the job, it's so far removed 3 files from my system that norton & AVG did not remove.
TS forum should be back up in around 24 hrs, the hacker has done a real job on us, ian is working on it now.
              regards

Running AVG, which allerted me to it but couldnt do anything with it.
Been trying loads of different things but nothing really working.
If anyone finds a program that'll sort it, will they post a link here please?

                          Hi guys,

First, update any virus/anti-spyware etc. programs via the net.

Then try booting into safe mode (press 'F8' during startup), and then running your virus/spyware scans from there.

                          Hope this helps.

                          Cheers,
                          Adam.

For those of you having trouble getting rid of the virus. Try http://forums.majorgeeks.com/ Their support forum gives specific advice and help on getting rid of trogans and viruses. It really helped me a few weeks back when I had trogans on my computer that Mcafee couldn't get rid of.

May give a few pointers on what to do.
