Crazy rosea!

I reckon I have one of those horror story 'Psycho Rose's'

Im really quite hurt to be honest. My beautiful girl liked being handled and coming out to play, since I rehoused her, she has dug a shallow burrow under a hide and constantly hangs out there, and if there is the slightest movement then she darts out ready strike at the glass of her tank.Its really quite irregular how shes changed in the past few months. Shes even went for me when I refill her water, a few months ago, she would come out and sit in front of my hand while I was changing it, not she leaps fangs forward!

Thank god shes slow! I think she has nasty things on her mind. Just aswell she isnt as powerfull or fast as she seems to think she is!

Is she your 1st and only Tarantula, and if so have you only had her a few months? The reason I ask is that i have 2 G.roseas, my adult female was my 1st T and what i didnt realise when i bought her was that she was gravid and a couple of months after getting her she made herself a shallow burrow and layed an egg sac. Mine got quite aggressive then. Just an idea

No ive had this G.Rosea for about 2 months, and had another for a good few years when I was little, I also have an L.Parahybana just now and ordering a few more soon.

She has made a shallow hole actually. she isnt eating though, surely shed have an appetite if she was gravid?
