and thats just a couple off top of my head theres pletny to findand dont have to spend ages going through pet shop to pet shop to be told they dont sell small crickets as they dont sell and have to have them ordered which dont do til wednesday etc.
Small to medium size crickets black or brown whichever you feel need the black are silent and the brown chirp all night and are better escaping. Wax worms, bearing in mind they dont last long and turn into mothes so just buy a few. Small mealworms work. As a general guide the spidesr food should be 1/3 of the size of the tarantula 1/2 at the biggest size.
remember that theres more than just crix out there.
i hate using crix and mostly buy locusts now.
they cost alittle bit more than crix but i find them easier to
look after and to move about from tank to tank.
also as they are veggie, they wont attack your T if there
in the tank during molting time. but mostly i find the T's
seem to like them better which is what really counts.
i also use wax worms too now and then.
All my T's hate mealworms for some strange reason.....
anyway i get my food from livefood.co.uk.

Hi Charlene, you have Northampton Reptiles somewhere near you, I know they sell crix, waxworms, locusts etc, it's a pity my supplier only delivers in Milton Keynes, I don't know if he would post some to you.

I thought crickets were vegetarian too. Plus arent locusts for adult Ts only?

All crickets are omnivorous and in the wild some species are carnivorous by choice. If crickets are not kept well fed they will prey on one another.
or your T.!!!!
i use hatchling/ small locusts for my slings and bigger sizes
for my adults. (all two of them, lol)
why can locusts only be used for adult T's?????

They can be used for younger T's as well you just need to match the size of the locust to the size of the T in the same way you would with crickets.
My juvenile Smithi (85mm) will take locusts the same size as it's own body no problem.
It is greedy though, it took a locust the other day just after catching a cricket (2 mins max), such that the locust was impaled via the cricket, a bit like a kebab!! Should have took a picture.
