  • sizing a spider

Ok, here's a question for you guys, our spiders size is often referred to by legspan, how do you measure that, which pair of legs, how do you get the spid to obligingly spread it's legs out to be measured ?

You measure from the tip of Leg I to the tip of leg IV so its the from the end of the front leg one side to the end of the rear leg on the oposite side. The easiest way of getting them at near full size is to wait untill they climb the glass on their tank and get the measurment through the glass.
