Thank you again for you prompt and very helpfull replies. Now at least things make sense and i shouldnt worry that its not eating. Should i remove the crickets from the terrarium? they have been in there for 3 days.

I suppose the only thing left for me to find out is wether its a male or a female. It sounds like a challenging task from what i have read. Any advice on that?

Thanks Richard, will give it a go.

@ Samer My first T was a rose aswell and I wouldnt be to worried about it not eating that much, when I first got mine it ate 1 locust a week no problems but after a year it wouldnt eat at all so i varied the food and still had no luck and in the following 8 years it only ate 3 times that I saw up until 6 months ago when it pigged out for a few months and now its not eating again. Remove the crickets from the tank and once a week try feeding, it'll eat when it wants to and aslong as it looks healthy it'll be fine, just make sure it has a water dish available.

@ Mary Im sure ill get round to joining in the end

Yeah i'd remove anything that isn't eaten within 24-48 hours. Try again in a week or two. Make sure it has access to a water bowl all the time though. Although G.rosea is a hardly species, they do still need to drink from time to time.
