To those of you who Knew Big Barry I am afraid to tell you that he passed away last night following a year long battle against cancer, he was a good friend and loved his spiders, I thought I would let you know as many of you knew him, love and blessings JP x

I very sorry to here of Barry's passing, I new Barry for a very long time, my sincere condolences to his immediate family and I know and fully agree there are a great deal people out there who new Barry for many years and I feel sure they will add there sympathy messages here in due course.

Thanks for your reply's guys Barry or Barbie as he was afectionatly was known was good old mate things always seemed to go wrong for the poor old sod and he had some real tough times but he always had a smile or a joke or would take the Pi** out of you as he did, you know what i mean, and would always help you out he came around and helped me many times and would give you his last penny if you needed it, i know people always say things like this about people when they are gone but with barbie it was the case he will be a Big and i say that literally big loss to our hobby as for all his faults knew his stuff and loved everything cold blooded and crawly.Oh well cheers for your words I know he is looking down now calling me every nasty name he can right now lol but the lardy bugger had better have a pint waiting when i get up there thats all i can say!

Sorry I havent been about for a while and then pop up with this poxy news but you lot are always in my thoughts and i still pop on here to see all the fantastic work all you guys and girls put in to make this society "THE BEST" Tarantula society in the world by far. Keep up the good work and all the spidery best for the new year to you all love JP x
