I may get a few to stick in with my Avics and a few other spiders, but I'm also wondering how they do with other inverts; specifically roaches? I've got a few Archimandrita tesselata and they're fairly messy eaters. They could use a little help cleaning up after themselves.
I was thinking the main isopod culture could possibly cohabit in the roach tub, provided they don't try to outcompete eachother, develop a taste for eachother's young, etc. etc. Any experiences or opinions?

I kept a colony of burrowing cockroaches and slaters/woodlice in a storage bin once full of peat and leaf litter in my spider room once seemed quite happy together.
