  • red african trapdoor

At the start of the week my RATD destroyed it's home and sat out in the open.
I'm not sure why it would do this but thought it might be going into a shed, it still has not made another burrow yet, so was wandering if this is normal behaviour?
Also my 1in Haplopelma huwenum {not sure if thats right i just call it a H. Schmidti for the moment} but i moved it pot 2wks ago and it has not started to make it's burrow {it might be settling in} but just want to make sure.
    Thankyou in advance

i had the same with my H.lividum, what i did was used my finger to make a deep hole and then placed a small hide over the top of it. he then moved in within 24hrs and extended on from there.
