  • H.Lividum breeding

just after some advice really, ive got 3 definate females, 1 definate male, and 1 im not sure on could be immature male or hungry female. but my male has made his sperm web but doesnt seem interested in any of the females has anybody any ideas or suggestions who has successfully bred this species. I dont want to coax the male into doing anything as i know these are very aggressive species and he may end up RIP.

WOW just had him do the deed with 1 of the females, a very aggressive affair he was very forcefull on her, he had two attempts on her not sure if he suceeded on either. He then stopped to have a fag and looked exhausted and ended up retreating, should i try him again with her? or try with another female once he produces another sperm web, to much sex cant be a bad thing can it lol?

Did the mated female "clean" herself?

that is a sign of a good mating.

dry then wet season, dont keep them to warm or the eggs will dry out, feed them like crazy

      easy species to breed (comparitively)

She did Ray, after the 1st attempt he had she backed back into her burrow cleaning herself then came back up for another go, then the same happened again then they just sat still facing 1 another for about a minute or so before the male decided he had had enough and began to retreat.
