  • sling housing idea....

well..ive been on numerous forum`s and site`s looking for the ultimate housing for our wee sling`s...
believe it or not the best i found so far is from sainsbury`s,yep that`s rite sainsbury`s..it come`s in the form of a small clear plastic container..
what did it house you ask ???
    COCKTAIL SAUSAGE`S.. yep honestly...
A nice size container 10cm high x 10cm diameter, just make the amount of vent hole`s required and your away(will post pic`s soon of said container`s)...Well i thought that was the best i could find for our smallest friend`s..until i came across this place..

    www.3ddisplays.co.uk/containers_and_trays

Well worth a look at,also check out their cube kits, they sem expensive the cube kit`s but think they would look fab all set up,of course vents will have to be added..just an idea..
going to order a few piece`s off them,so wil let you all know how i get on....

    ...

Thanks for the link, but... are those prices for single containers?

They would probably look good in a display, but I don't know if I could invest that much in it!

      container cost`s

      hey warren..
single container is £6.79 or a set of 8 with shelving is £80, so i dont think there that expensive, think they look nicer than pet pal tanks and i think heating them would be much easier as heatmat could be placed on the back...
like i said think they look good and would house sling`s very nicely.....

        Do you accept begging letters?

Slight bit of confusion, there. Your link doesn't work, so I originally went to the homepage and since we're talking about sling containers, I clicked on the 'tubs' section. Now I see you mean the picka bins.

They seem a bit large for slings! Although, yeah... the price is a lot more reasonable than the tubs, and they'd make an excellent display. Still a little rich for my blood - I'm too used to poundstretcher's food tubs.
What about the lids, though? I have a feeling they wouldn't fit too tightly.

          lids...

          beging letter`s welcomed mate..

judging by the pic`s i myself am not to sure about how tight the seal on the lid would be,but to be honest if these was used just for sling`s i dont think they need to be that tight just secure.

I`m going to order just a single one of these tub`s to check it over,so will post what i think about them mate..overall construction, lid and sort`s ....

Zero Expense Spiderling House with Added Goodies

Don't buy a Spiderling house...! Buy a box of Ferrero Rocher (eat them) and then use the box:
