Help Please

i have got my first tarantula today from my pet shop they said it was a red rosie or rosie red tarantula. i was hoping you can give me tips on how too look after it. like were to keep it and do they need water. At moment ive got it in a plastic container with air holes, its got a log and compost for substrate and i gave it 2 crickets. so any help would be warmly welcomed. thanx mike

Well Done Michael! Are you all set up now? Have you discovered what your tarantula is - is it a Chilean Rose?
I am new to this game too and have had my Mexican Red Kne ( Brachypelma Smithi) for approx 5-6 months and have no regrets! This is a great site for any further questions you have and has helped me no end and always sich quick replies.
