a man called Kev from reptileforums found it in his cricket tub when he got them and was interested in knowing what it is
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
I tried to get hold of him again to see if he could post another pic but he hasnt replied yet

Looks, on first glance and quality of picture, like a member of the Araneidae family (broad bodied orb weavers) quite common throughout Britain (although not in cricket tubs )
Simon, you will quite commonly find these in tubs of crickets, they are a native british species, I thought they may be a Philodromus sp. but if I remember rightly Richard Gallon has posted a reply either on here or on another forum identifying it as a different species although I can't remember what he said off hand.
Its a British species that finds its way infto the tubs. They set up home in the cricket breeding enclosures. Wouldnt you? It must be like living in MacDonalds .
