I'm getting a Greenbottle blue pretty soon, I can't wait!

So far my T's are pretty plain (nowt wrong with that by all means) but it's going to be great to have such a colourful T!

Sorry just rather chuffed about this so had to tell someone :S

    Greenbottle Blue

    Hi Kain

I'm new to all of the many different T's, so I had to look your new one up.
They look pretty impressive I have'nt seen this one before.

Are they more for the experienced keeper? what kind of temperament do they have?

I'm glad your excited, I'm getting my G. rosa next week, my first T so I know how you feel. Make sure you post some pics when he/she arrives.

      Hi Barbara

From what I have read about them, there pretty docile but quite fast. (I Have a P cambridgei - nothing can be as fast as that!!!)

I am a novice myself, I have been keeping T's for just over a month. I consider myself a noob but I have bout one, and the P cambridgei is apparently not for beginners.

However I am not interesting in handling them (that said I have handled my G rosea and sling A. avics) but I find them far more fascinating to watch.

Tonight I have spent about 2 hours watching my P cambridgei spinning a web, it was much more interesting than the crap on TV!!

I'm sure you will love your G rosea, if he/she is anything like mine, then you will think it's a toy statue as she hardly ever moves! The one night you will be watching her and she will suddenly take herself off for a walk!!

      Brilliant fun!

I will post some pics of the sling when he arrives!

        Oooooh Kain!
You're going to make myself and Mike very jealous with your purchase of a GBB! We've been drooling over them for the last week! lol!

I think we're both trying to hold off till the exhibition though (We'll see how long that lasts!!)

Well done though, you're as mad for it as I am, I've been doing this a month or so and I have 13 now!!

I'm pretty used to keeping exotics anyway but I love the T's, soooo interesting and still get a fuzzy feeling inside when I watch them eat, like a proud mum ! Weird or what? need to get out more! lol

Oh now Mike, you can't leave it like that! Talk about a cliff hanger!! Swine!

Have to wait for the flippin pics now I suppose too!!??

There's another T on the spidershop that I fancy and was wondering if Lee was running short of stock whether to put a deposit down and collect whilst at the exhibition!?

See! I'm struggling already! Although sounds like you have given in!! Lmao!
Does anybody know how many sellers take stock to the exhibition?

I definately want a GBB but also do quite fancy the B, bohemi - very nice looking spider.

Just joined the Arboreal T Forum and asked the question about Poecilotherias as I really fancy some (Stunning spiders) but worried they may be a bit over my skill set at the moment?

                Waiting for some feedback.

Still no sign of my membership details but the T-Shirt I ordered has arrived, gorgeous it is too.
When you said they didn't fit your ample frame I though I saw on another post that you print them, why not sort it out!? Surely you can get stock in your size, maybe either send one to get the BTS contract to do it or we'll petition to get them for 'the fuller figure!' lol

It's a shame really as the 'Pokie' design on the back is fab!

Anyway, off to write war and peace on another thread now.... laters!

I have a B, bohemi, there great little spiders!

Mines about a year or so old (about the size of babybel cheese lol) and its good fun to watch digging around in the peat.

Only thing is he keeps putting soil in his water dish

TBH I was going to wait to the Show and that sort of still stands, however.....

No sorry you'll have to wait

IM really keen on getting an arboreal setup, and have been looking for a A. versicolor to no avail. But have started to look at the pokies. But Im also looking at a Heteroscodra maculata....

I do print T shirts yes, and tbh had thought of contacting to see if I could buy a copy of the print and print one myself, but didnt want to seem too cheeky!!!
