Oh yeh, forgot to add that.
There were 1/4 inch holes drilled in the bottom piece of wood, just above the substrate line. and the small gap at the top where the sliding glass met the 'top' of the tamk provided enough.
I had a P murinus in there so exact humidity wasn't of paramount importance and usually misted lightly once or twice a week.
The whole idea was to give the animal the option of burrowing or being arboreal (as they tend to do one or the other), mine stayed terrestrial and proved to be a right pain to feed etc, typical !!

One thing i've just thought of, if you feed crickets then you'll need to mesh the holes up or make them smaller. I only feed locusts and they're not so keen on forcing themselves through holes.

Cheers Colin, TBH I would like to switch completely to locust, but the last few weeks my G. rosea and B. smithi have been a bit finicky. You can buy that mesh thay use on cars, I presume that would be ok.

Look like I may be set tp try this out

          Cheers Mike

Yes mate, the aluminium stuff (no rusting) used to reinforce fibreglass and P38 filler.
Have you tried waxworms for your finicky T's.
Try just dropping one next to the T and see if it grabs it, all mine love em (even the Geniculata and thats very fond of defrost fuzzy mice). they don't burrow very quickly and even if they do and you can't find it the waxworm doesn't have the same habit of trying to nibble on the T like mealworms / bullworms do.
I tip a load of waxworms into my sons Whites tree frog enclosure and leave them, when they (the remaining ones) hatch out into moths the frogs have a whale of a time.

Ah, we're talking slings then, my appologies, wax worms would be too big.
take a trip down to your local fishing tackle shop and ask for the smallest amount they do of Squats. they're minute maggots, uncoloured and full of protein as they are, after all, fed on meat of varying types.

Mike, where do you order your foodstuffs from?

And a recommendation, if you buy large blacks or browns (Adults) for your larger T's then chuck a couple of the females (With ovipositors) into a cricket tub with some damp substrate in the bottom, they will lay eggs in that then you can take 'em back out, keep the tub warm and as I have now had, you will get a batch of micro crix!

Is this for a vivarium with a sliding glass front or a complete glass tank?

I think the "10" by 10" and 18" inch custom tank" sounds nice
