Thinking of Kettering, it's only 40 miles or so down the A6 away for me.

I am tempted but for a stay of about an hour that's a 6 hour round trip so not really very economical!

Is the Kettering show purely Tarantulas ? , will there be a large sellection for sale?

Neil, Kettering is an entomological show, this means there will be quite a few dealers selling pinned butterflies & the like as well as associated equipment, there are usually a few good booksellers too as well as Custom Aquaria for tanks etc. In the past few years the number of spider dealers seems to be on the increase again & I know that Peter Grabowitz is coming over as well as obviously Lee and I'm sure there'll be a few others, I find it a worthwhile run sually & will definitely be there on Sunday, I've already booked the day off!

p.s if you are interested to see what Peter Grabowitz may have available take a look at www.polyped.de for his latest list, it's all in scientific names with any additional info in German but still understandable though.

Some good prices for species there, (no Lycosidae though ) might even take Euros for him so he doesn't have to convert em back.
