Dont worry about it being male Mike, it's a stunner !!

I'm gonna try and do some time lapse photography on the next moultee, then string it together in a really fast slide show, should get a nice result if all goes well.

        Thanks for all the replies.
I was up till around 2am when he had righted himself, then I got up at 6am to check. Just got back in from work and he's still on the moult 'hammock!' but has turned around.
He does look incredible and I cant wait till he stretches out to get an idea of the leg span, I would guess around the 6" mark.

I have changed the name now, Cruella doesnt quite fit now, so hes called Boris....

Im just glad I got to see the whole thing from the very start, (he was still webbing the 'Hammock' ) right to the end.
When he flipped over I was gob smacked, I was actually sat there with my camera, but completely froze and didnt get one shot. lol.

        Thanks all

        Mike

Mike, my pal Andy Miller is looking for a male for the female I gave him, so there's the first.

One question, What actually happens on a 50/50?? I have this mature male and would want him to mate, but tbh cant really deal with looking after 200+ slings. Would people who wanted a mature male do a trade for another Spider??

Im now keeping an eye on my L. parahybana and tiny A. geniculata as they both molted today while I was at work.

Awful lot of moults going on at the minute no?

                        I count at least 4!
All those legs and not a pair of shoes in sight... Nice tarsus tho...

I think they're on your "A genicula moult" thread, i just got confused with all the email notifications.

anyway i'm going to bring my daughters G Rosea, my L para and my A Geni round to your house and then pick them up in a couple of days when they've moulted. you seem to have it all bang on matey !!!

Heres the best pic post molt I have so far. He's still recovering but is moving round a bit now.
I've decided once he's recovered Im going to offer him up for trade or sale. I really dont want to see him wither without passing on the old genes and tbh I dont think I could take care of 200+ slings!!!
