We just don't travel as far and turn over smaller stones
you're still welcome to come along when i go out photographing nature.
Got V Berus (adder) to do mid summer and Natrix natrix (grass snake) to do later in the year in the south of england.

Only find them in Dorset, Hampshire and Surry now, most of the time they live underground so chances of me seeing one again are slim unfortunately

if your moving to the south of England we have some pretty interesting Hornets. Big, agressive predators that feed on smaller bees, wasps and insects! That should keep the excitement levels up.
Sadly we don't get them in the north.Everyones an Expert! "Ex" is a has been - "spurt" is a strong gush of water! You decide............................
