BTS Merchandise Overseas Shipping

After I renewed my BTS membership today I thought I would also pick up a couple of the BTS T-shirts. When I was checking out it was telling me that shipping to the US was going to cost me £30.00. Is this amount correct? If so then I'm unfortunately not going to be able to pay £69.00 for two T-shirts.

If the shipping can be done cheaper than that, I'll get a couple of shirts as well and we can split the shipping cost.

A good point and one we will look at.

We now have North American Coordinators in the shape of Scott Schur and Michael Jacobi. I know Michael is coming over in May so he might be willing to bring a few back and ship them from within the States. I havnt asked him but it might be worth looking at.

Hi Mike checking the site I note the cost to ship to the US is £6 plus the cost of the T-Shirt (£13.50) this makes the cost £19.50 or £39 for the two.

Where did you see the shipping cost.

Ray, I'll shoot Michael an email here in a few minutes and see if he minds picking some up for myself and Eric.

Eric, if for some reason Michael can't or forgets then going in together on shipping sounds like a good idea.

Not sure how your getting this cost, its only £6.00 I just did a test order

2 shirts plus international shipping, came to £39.00, which was

£13.50 x 2
Postage x 2 = £12.00 (should be £9.00)

Total £39.00

I have only just home from work, another 16 hour day, so a bit tierd at the moment, if you can leave it till the weekend I will look into the postage as it should only be £9.00..

Failing this I can always paypal invoice you the correct price and ship this way OK.

Mark after checking the "Purchase using your PayPal account" box I click on Submit. This takes me to "Step 2 - Shipping Info". At the very bottom is a required field "Shipping Method" which contains only "Standard Carrier - £30.00". I've tried everything and I always come up with the additional shipping costs.

I'm in no rush to get the shirts so no hurry. I appreciate you looking into this. Could it have something to do with me living in the US? I can PM you my info and you can fill it in yourself and see if you come up with the same results.

Maybe he could get a BIG box of stuff (Michael) and resell it from his site?!? You know some of us can not get enough tarantula clothing to satisfy our rabid hobby!

I had a few minutes and thought a screenshot would actually work best for what I was trying to describe. As you can see both shirts came to £39.00 which includes the £6.00 International Recorded for each shirt. Which is correct. But before going any further it's wanting to charge me an additional £30.00 for Standard Carrier. There's no way around this. Like I said in a previous post I'm in no hurry.

I will work something out for North Americans. I will get with Ray, Martin Nicholas and Richard Gallon (Poec poster) on marketing some of this BTS merchandise at ArachnoCon and possibly through mail order. All of the proceeds would go directly to the BTS - I would not be selling them through my company, but rather facilitating distribution in my role as BTS committee member. Part of my ArachnoCon exhibit will be devoted to promoting the BTS and will be separate from business conducted by Exotic Fauna Enterprises. Details to follow...

Try it now it should be fine OK. Turns out I had inadvertently turned on UPS shipping. It’s off now. I did notice it as it was on only vintage shirts. I was checking it on Pocky shirts, which had the shipping set correctly.
