I have 2 Robustrums, 1 is only 5cm but the other is 7 inches and she never burrows, she is out all the time, she is not to nasty & they are very prety but i would say robustrums and frimbriatus are not good for beginners. a cute T for a beginner would be something like a G. aurio (chaco) or a B.auratum. C.cyanopubescens are very cute with lots of colour, they can be skitty but they make a great display T and they make fantastic wbs.

Richard Neil Richardson has some good pictures on his gallery bit on this site of the C cyanopubescens. Which incedently I agree would be a great T for what your looking for. though they do web allot as well as spend loads of time out and about. They have a green carapace, bright orange abdermon and metallic blue legs, and are very much like avics in temperament despite not really being arboreal though they can climb well if they want to.

This is my Chromatopelma cyanopubescens Juvenile/Sling (Greenbottle Blue)

As you can see in some of the pictures it webs up a lot.

Very very nice looking spiders and are always out and about.

Also feed very very well too!

Ok Richard but at the moment we are on dial up and it takes ages to download pics but if you go to Arachnophiles & into Tarantula pics, I have a thread on there with some of my spids on. The GBB is really brightly coloured, they are nice T's & they are out all the time so you may want to choose one of those.
I am also taking 45 T's to the BTS show with me which I will be selling, I have some quite quiet ones which should be ok for you. They wil be with Auntie Mary on her table.
