Hey, if you're looking to get rid PM me and we can sort something out, swap/sale.

I'm loving the arboreals right now, never a dull moment!

But seriously tho, if you've got some pokies in need of a loving home let me know.

    Rob.
All those legs and not a pair of shoes in sight... Nice tarsus tho...

I know what you mean Mike, they go like hell!

I found to loosen the lid of the pot they travel in then pop it into their new home and take the lid off then with long forceps so they run into their hide in their new tank rather than up your arm! (Well, that's the idea anyway!)

My Pokies weren't too bad to move but the Cyriopagopus sp I had shot up my arm and onto the floor about 5 times when I did the same with them! fast little critters!

Once they're in they're fine - mine have settled down now - I think the stress of travelling sometimes makes it worse.

Mike, it sounds to me that the best thing you can do is put the little ones in a dark room for a day to settle. As for the ones still in their pots, put the pot in the container and take off the lid, leave the spider to get out of the pot under its own steam. If the pot has tissue paper in it, do the same but when the pot is in the container remove the paper with tweezers and if the spider is on it leave the paper in there. Remember Poecilotherias are timid and usually hate bright lights (such as sunshine). The reason they are running about is because they are frightened and the best way to calm them is to put them in the dark for an hour. I know they are fast and I've had a spiderling run up my sleeve before too. Keep a cool head and all should be fine.

Thanks for all the replies. You're all right, once they where in for a few days they've settled down. The 2 fasciatas have settled in and webbed up some nice tubes!!! I've got a vid of one of them feeding, and to be honest you dont really see much of the T, jus a flash as the hopper gets dragged into the hole!!!

I did however lose one of the regalis and the pedersenni. Gutted!!!

unfortunately passed on. If it was the other I would be forced to get rid of all my T's

Probably, but I havent tried yet. I dont tend to handle my T's only the B. smithi and thats only when I've done tank changes.
The only one I've got thats ever really done the old threat display is my small juv L. parahybana, and that strikes at the water when Im refilling.
I've got a pic somewhere of it, and you can just imagine the caption being something like "come on give me a hug!!"
