  • Muppety Question

I know this might seem like a stupid question but thought it worth asking.

Are all exhibitors at the BTS show going to be accepting cash only??

What I mean is will any have the facility to take credit cards at the venue? (Not by old fashioned swipe contraptions but by modern online chip and PIN methods, don't recommend the old ones as I work for a credit card company and too much of a risk of fraud etc!)

The reason I ask is I am not having a very good month this month with saving cash for the show as I have had a lot of boring grown up things to pay for like a mortgage, a water pump on the car and grocery shopping!!

Just wondered if I could take my flexible friend!!

(Which currently already has a ridiculous balance from the Spider Shop! But that's a different matter....)

Any ideas? I'm expecting a resounding NO but I wanted to be sure before i start sulking!

I mentioned this in another thread (that i can't seem to find)

Mike, I work for a credit card company, and even though I will be tempted by the goodies on offer, not at those interest rates!!

            Thnaks for the thought though!

(Even if you try to pay that straight back in it will pay off the lower interest rates first so your high interest 'cash' withdrawal will keep ticking along nicely to earn that credit card company some fat ones!)

A mate of mine got into £7000 of debt by withdrawing on his card to pay the minimum payment a month!!!! He was told that if he stopped and only made the minimum payment it would take 50 years to pay off!!!
