Well they (B smithi and B boehemi) arrived yestereday and what little beauties they are too. The B smithi is slightly larger than the other but you can definately tell them apart. I should also be getting a female G rosea later today also from where my daughter works as they have a few too many for their needs.

After just reading Matts post about sending Ts through the post, my daughter asked yesterday as we unpacked them how people wrap up the spiders and put them into the containers without damaging the spiders.

I will post pics of the collection when I have 5 mins to actually take them. My daughter is waiting to take a picture of her H. maculata so when that is done I will do the rest and post them all together.

Anyway, have fun at the show, its a pity I cant make it as I would have loved to have gone. Maybe next year.
    B. boehmei - T. blondi - G. rosea x 5 -
    C. cyaneopubescens - N. chromatus -
    L. parahybana - H. maculata x 2 - G. aureostriata
    P. irminia - P. murinus

Congratulations Helen Excellent choices. The B. boehmei's are stunning T's as are the B. smithi. I'm sure you will enjoy caring for them and your new G. rosea when it arrives.

Oh your have fun with that lot, so you can explain things to your daughter what people normally do is put T in side a tub of some sort for travelling in, then place this inside a larger box with paper etc for extra padding and protection and also to help with heating and send though post having made sure that the box has live animals inside handle with care and fragile written all over it. In winter or when its extra cold those disposable heat pads are added next to the tub the T is travelling in. Oh the tub the T is travelling in is always made secure to prevent escapes either by tape for cricket tub type arrangements or though very secure lids like those for slings from the spider shop.
