  • New arrival

    Morning everyone

Well my little C. cyaneopubescens (copied and pasted that bit as I cant spell it yet) has arrived and has been transfered to its new pot safely. It is such a pretty wee thing with gorgeous colour on its abdomen and tiny black feet. Its legs are longer and spindlier than I expected but boy can it move quick lol. It shot out of the tissue it was wrapped in and straight up the twigs in the pot and just stayed there.

I have seen photo's of them as slings but they really dont do them justice compared to seeing them in the flesh. I'm one very happy bunny

    Elaine
ps. I wish I had a decent camera to take photo's for you.

      Thanks Richard

How long until yours arrives? My little one is webbing already lol. My daughter has named him/her tigger because of the markings on the abdomen.

          Hi Richard
I hope yours arrives safe and sound from Germany. Is this your first C. cyaneopubescens?
This little one of mine had his/her first meal earlier. It took all of 3 seconds from the cricket landing in the tub for it to be pounced on. This little one is soooo cool. I coould sit and watch it all day. There is already quite a bit of webbing.

I will try and get my Dad to take some photo's next time he visits.

I got one of those slings from the tarantula shop the other day. Loving it, great spider to watch. I'm well pleased with it!

                Congratulations Matt

They are fascinating to watch. I can see me getting more of these lol. I have found another online shop selling them but they are a couple of £'s dearer. Maybe next week

Thats one tiger that will change its spots ( they lose the stripes as junviniles ) but still a nice name.

                    Thanks Sarah

We have already shortened the name to Tigs. I have been showing my daughter photo's of the adults and she says the name isnt good so the shortened version will do. At least its ok for both male and female so we wont have to change it again.
