Does anyone feed their spiders anything different to what you can get in pet shops? I mean like feeding them things like woodlice, moths etc? I've tried woodlice with my slings and they love them. I dont use pesticides in my garden or anything so thought why not? It says that they eat crickets, small insects etc. They are doing fine with them and its good when i can't get to the pet shop.

I feed a combination of Locusts, mealworms, crickets (micro's for the slings) squat maggots (again for the slings) wax worms (and the wax moths when they emerge)
I have a several woodlice in each enclosure for the purpose of keeping it clean, and keeping mites under control.
