  • Vagans on her back and Curly's nowhere to be seen!

    Hey peeps,

Presently my B Vagans is on it's back doing the whole pumpy thing, which is nice as she really milked her pre-moult!

While changing the sub on my slings in the meantime I seem to have come across a vanishing act.

My 1cm B Albopilosum isn't in her pot... She had burrowed deep and I haven't seen her for a while, but there isn't even any remains in the pot to at least let me reach a rather sad conclusion!

I've been sifting through the sub that was there and there's absolutely nothing there, and I'll be damned if I can find her anywhere in the house...

I don't understand it, just gone!

Any advice? I'm at a loss!
All those legs and not a pair of shoes in sight... Nice tarsus tho...

if you've sifted through all the substrate in the Brachy's pot and can't find ANYTHING....i'm as much of a loss for ideas as you mate

Sounds like she did a runna while you were shifting though the substrate i have had that happen many a time and got lucky in spoting them so knew where they were and that i needed to prevent escapes. Search for it near where you were doing the substrate shiting in dark small places near the ground, hopefully your find it ok.

        Still no sign

I hope she didn't escape from my T shelves and maybe venture into one of the larger T's enclosures...

I'm hoping to find a rather hairy spider lurking in the house come 3-6 months, I heard of a guy who once lost a P Murinus sling and a year later got a rather nasty surprise one day while watering his plant pots...
