  • B. Boehmei sharing burrow with a snake?

    Hi everybody!

I've been casually looking everynow and then for the past few weeks for information online regarding this, just out of curiosity.

When I bought a B. Boehmei from thespidershop not long ago, the description went on to say that there was once a case found of a Boehmei sharing a burrow with a snake.

    And that's all I remember.

Now I'm slightly interested and was wondering if anybody can point me to any information on this, whatsoever. The more the better.

    Thanks BTS!

I've just had a quick look round for that, no real joy at all...

Now i'm more than slightly interested....it's got to have happened at some time, but to get the whole facts on the matter would be great.

It's in an excellent article by the Brachymeister Rick West in the BTS journal, volume 20 number 2. Available for download from the members section.

There's also documentation somewhere of a B Boehmei sharing a burrow with a frog if I remember correctly...
All those legs and not a pair of shoes in sight... Nice tarsus tho...

there is alot of cases of T's sharing burrows with frogs, the frogs most probably keep the burrow free of pests and mites.

                interesting.
i've heard of Xenesthis Immanis sharing a burrow with toads, but didn't know it extended to other species.
